David Dalition

About

A law professor with a military background, David Dalition laid the foundation for his career with a summa cum laude bachelor of arts from Saint Mary's University of Minnesota. After attending law school at the University of Notre Dame, he entered into service with the U.S. Army as a prosecuting attorney at Fort Benning. David Dalition remained in active military service for nearly a quarter century, ultimately rising to the rank of colonel.

David Dalition returned three more times to the academic environment, completing a diverse graduate program at the Command and General Staff College and earning two master of law (LLM) degrees – a general LLM from the Judge Advocate General's Legal Center and School and an LLM in constitutional law from Columbia Law School.

Mr. Dalition taught national security legal studies at the United States Army War College. In addition to teaching a range of coursework, he led an accredited resident graduate course. The US Army War College is known for educating and developing leaders for service at the strategic level while advancing knowledge in the global application of Landpower.

The purpose of US Army War College is to produce graduates who are skilled critical thinkers and complex problem solvers in the global application of Landpower. The US Army War College also acts as a "Think Factory" for Commanders and Civilian Leaders at the strategic level worldwide.
